Sumanta Ghose is the Senior Designer for Summersalt Inc., a D2C swimwear and apparel startup. Her designs strive to bring high quality and stylish essentials to women of all sizes. She has led the company towards success in new categories while it grows beyond its status as a swimwear brand. Prior to joining Summersalt, Sumanta enjoyed working with multiple brands, including Roller Rabbit, Faherty Brand, and Kohls. She enjoys the unique challenge of designing for a company without a brick and mortar presence. She holds an undergraduate degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from The University of Maryland and attended Parsons the New School of Design for their graduate program in Fashion Studies. In her spare time she enjoys teaching and practicing yoga.
