Anna Jovien joined Tucson Biofeedback's team for her internship and gained insight into frequency healing techniques.
What was the focus of your internship?
The focus of my internship was frequency medicine and understanding how to work the technology at Tucson Biofeedback. I learned how to administer treatments and techniques to relax and put our patients at ease during their sessions. It is important to create a comfortable and safe environment when dealing with multiple types of disorders and types of people in general. This part of the program helped me to be conscious of my tone of voice when communicating to others as well as making sure to convey hope and strength that the patients can get better.
The unique thing about my internship is that I did go through treatment before I discovered that this was to be my passion. I am now on the other side of the patient table and because I understand what it feels like to be a new patient, I am able to better explain what the experience will be like. In fact, my favorite part of my internship was giving patients hope of feeling better and achieving long term healing.
I have also enjoyed the people that I work with at Tucson Biofeedback. It is a very small team and they are extremely supportive. Their faith in me has helped keep me centered on my ability to help others and my own continued routine treatments. I am happy to report Dr. Blessings hired me at the end of my internship!
